The ”COMPDRIVER” is a signature pedal of Jose de Castro. A bit more on JDC here. This pedal combines an overdrive and a compressor effect together. With 2 switches you can change the position of the compressor (before or after the overdrive), or you can simply turn it off. The tone of this overdrive was adjusted with Jose’s advice, which makes the tone sounds very clear and stands out from background music when you play True Bypass design minimizes tone loss.
